Johnny Mulhair

Johnny Mulhair:

There is something unique about a "picker" that can transform from a flawless take of Jimi Hendrix, Purple Haze, right into a very classy cut of Chet Atkins followed by a revamped surfing tune from the sixty's. John is equally at home on the Pedal Steel Guitar as well. In the early 60's Johnny handled the guitar chores in a rock band named Apple Glass Cyndrom. They achieved much regional success with a 45 cut in Norman Petty Studios. This single is still much in demand in the UK to this day as it has been resurrected many times over in the psychedelic rock genre. Since those days Johnny has toured with LeAnn Rimes, The Fireballs, Buddy Knox and The Coasters. Additionally he has engineered in the Norman Petty Studios prior to starting his own studio with his wife Jill. John has received AMC and CMA Nominations for producing LeAnn Rimes multi-platinum album Blue as well as himself being named one of the Nations Top 10 Guitarist by Music Row Magazine in Nashville.

Kenny Milton

Kenny Milton:

I worked in a music store in the early 80's. I got to the point if I heard one more poor rendition of the lead to "Stairway to Heaven" I thought I would scream. In walked Kenny Milton. The first thing that was different about Kenny was he asked to play an acoustic guitar. No whammy bar, Dr. Distorto fuzz box for him. It wasn't even a decent guitar he wanted to play. He twisted the tuning pegs for a second and started playing the most beautiful version of the Beatles Eleanor Rigby I have heard to date. The bass line with his thumb, rhythm with his index finger and an accompanying lead line with his pinky. I was astounded and needless to say his invitation to come back anytime was open. Originally from Riverside, California, Kenny now resides in Clovis, NM. He is a sound engineer and studio guitarist with Mulhair Studios. Kenny is a multi-instrument musician with guitar being primary. He got his start in the Los Angeles area at a very early age playing with many top bands and toured the US with Little Richard in the Early 70's.

Brad Billingsley

Brad Billingsley:

You have got to have a rock solid rhythm foundation at the heart of any great band and Brad provides this groove for The Fun Brothers. He has been playing drums for over 30 years and is a proficient live drummer but is equally accomplished as a studio drummer. The list is long of albums where you will see drumming credits go to Brad Billingsley. His numerous album contributions include recording and playing live with the legendary 60's band The Fireballs. He also played drums on Leann Rimes Blue and Unchained Melody: The Early Years Albums. Being a studio session drummer is not an easy task but Brad enjoys the challenge of various artist requiring him to play in all different styles and genres of music. Most artist have a hard time communicating their drum visions but Brad's sixth sense puts them at ease and gives them what they want... and more.

L.D. Phillips

L.D. began playing guitar in High School at age fifteen. Then at age eighteen he started playing bass guitar in various bands in the Eastern New Mexico and West Texas areas. He is an original member of the seventies band "Christopher". The bands that influenced him the most in his learning years were The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Moby Grape, Buffalo Springfield and Jimi Hendrix. He has been a performing musician for more than thirty-five years and spent over five years on a road tour playing country, classic rock and blues. L.D. has sat in on several recording sessions with Johnny at Mulhair Studios as a studio musician and has played in bands that have been the opening act for Exile, Chris LeDoux, Jackson Browne, Jerry Jeff Walker and Willie Nelson. He also is an avid guitar collector.

Andy Mason

Andy Mason:

Andy's family has always been involved in music in some shape, form or fashion. It was natural for him to start singing at a very young age. Now he provides a powerful vocal front and a smooth acoustic guitar compliment for The Fun Brothers Band. Early influences include The Beatles, Queen, ELO, Alan Parsons and Crosby, Stills and Nash. He is a versatile musician that feels comfortable solo, duo or performing with The Fun Brothers and has performed at many State Fairs as well as other venues nationwide. Andy also enjoys the recording studio and is working on his second CD as a duo called Fast Time Constant, a remote recording situation he has shared with friend Joshua Belter, of Raleigh, NC, for 15 years. He enjoys spending time with his beautiful daughter and composing songs.
